Our Customers Say it Best: Leveraging Innovation
As an industry leading electrical contractor, Corbins Electric is known for providing our clients with innovative solutions and delivering quality results. A recent example of this is the successful completion of work at Banner Health, where our team installed emergency power to their critical systems. Great work to Mike Morfin, Rosario Valenzuela, Jose Calderon, Justin Weber, and our Prefabrication and Labels Department. But don’t take our word for it, see what Banner had to say about their experience working with us:
“The eICU and Telehealth departments located at our Banner Corporate Center in Mesa (BCCM) provide critical patient care. The Emergency Power (ePower) project supports this critical mission by ensuring the eICU / Telehealth operations are able to receive electrical power even during an electrical power grid interruption.
Mike Morfin’s leadership, teamwork and outstanding customer service made this Banner project a success!
The ePower project faced many challenges:
- The BCCM is attached to Banner’s Primary Data Center (PDC) and as a result the ePower project faced many and strenuous PDC reviews of the MOPs to obtain the approvals needed to proceed with scheduled shut-downs in order to perform the work.
- The ePower also required Corbins to work with multiple IT departments including 3rd-Party hardware hosting entities to obtain approvals to perform the work.
- The existing as-built drawings, panel board schedules, new electrical drawings and the demanding project schedule left the Team wanting. Mike Morfin was instrumental in working with the Electrical Engineer, the Banner IT staff, Banner Facilities staff and the requirements of a number of BCCM department leaders to make this a successful project.
I am happy to report there were no unscheduled power interruptions or construction problems, all shut-downs were performed as scheduled with many departments being returned to power ahead of schedule and no accidents.
Thank you for a great project! It truly was a pleasure to work with Mike Morfin and his Corbins team.”
