Spencer Avalos Gets Promoted to Project Manager

“On a personal level, I’ve always been driven to become an expert at what I do. To be patient, learn my skills & responsibilities, and perfect them. I think a lot of people forget that the foundation for success is discipline. People get really excited about career paths, and what’s next, but my whole focus is on being an expert at what I do NOW. And then start chipping off some of what’s next.”

Spencer Avalos, recently promoted to Project Manager, has been with the PRIDE for about 4 years. Although he was working most recently as a Project Engineer, Spencer started his career with Corbins as an electrician. He says, “I’ve been working electrical since I was a kid with my dad. Saturdays, I was waking up at 5am to go to work with him.” Recognizing his passion for working with his hands and being out on jobsites, he knew early on he wanted to be in construction, and loves delivering projects for customers. He says, “What drives me is seeing my team get out of their comfort zone to reach their potential. We are constantly looking for opportunities to change the game, and not getting stuck in old habits.”

Spencer works hard, and his personal schedule is just as full with hobbies like weightlifting, soccer, gaming, fishing, off-roading & frequent visits to the dog park with his pup- just to name a few.

Congratulations on your promotion Spencer! #corbinsPRIDE
